Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS) : A casual labour of the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Ltd died of electrocution in Zakura area of Srinagar outskirts on Wednesday.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that an employee of PDC was repairing a transmission line in Zakura area when he received the electric shock, he was taken to nearby hospital for treatment where doctors declare brought dead him on his arrival.
The deceased was identified as Tariq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, a resident of Malbagh.
Dar was working as a casual labourer in PDD department,
Reports also said that investigation in this regard has been taken up to see if there was any negligence on part of the power department (KNS)
