Huge traffic jams from Nowhatta to Hawal

Hundreds of private vehicles and auto rickshaws are stranded at different points from Nowhatta to Hawal chowk. Security forces and police have sealed the roads at different points and are reducing to lift barbed wire. With the result there are huge traffic james at downtown people are  pleading the police to allow them so  that they can reach their destination. Police and security forces have blocked different roads at downtown with  their vehicles and barbed wire. This move of the security forces has resulted in lot of chaos and confusion and authorities are asking the shopkeepers to close their shops. There is panic and scare as the vehicles remain stranded till this report was being filed. Curfew like restrictions in many parts of the  city with people have no idea how long these restrictions will go. More details from Srinagar city are awaited.
