Mehbooba speaks again

Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has been very vocal against the central government especially the present BJP leadership at the centre. She said that she will always talk about the restoration of rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that till she is alive she will fight for the restoration of article 370.

She said that the ground realities in Jammu and Kashmir are different and the BJP government should not get angry when she asks for the restoration of article 370 as it is only New Delhi which can restore it and not China or Pakistan.

Mehbooba said that people of Jammu and Kashmir will fight peacefully for their rights and said that the BJP government cannot silence every voice of dissent.

She claimed that she was being hounded by the central agencies at the behest of the BJP government and added that all such tactics cannot stop her from raising her voice for the restoration of rights of the people and for their dignity and honor.

Mehbooba has been talking about the restoration of article 370 and with the passage of time she is becoming a lone voice for such utterances as the National Conference especially its leadership including both Abdullah’s are maintaining the silence from the past few months over this issue.
