Aspirants for the posts in Health Department protest, demand release of final list

Many qualified aspirants in Srinagar protested against the government for the unnecessary delay in declaring the final selection list of these aspirants who have qualified the examinations conducted by the government for these posts.

The protesting aspirants said that they have qualified for the posts in H&ME deptt of Kashmir and now the government is delaying the list for the reasons known to them only.

According to the KNO in its report on their protests in Srinagar it said on Friday as follows.

Scores of aspirants, who qualified the exams for the posts in Health and Medical Education department, Friday, staged a protest here, demanding authorities to declare the final selection list.

According to the protesters, the advertisement notification for the posts were declared in March 2021 and subsequently, the exams were held in August last year

Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an aspirant said, “Many of the aspirants who qualified the examination  left the private and contractual jobs. However, some miscreants, for their vested interests, are trying to delay the declaration of the final selection list in order to ensure illegal extension of the contractual employees.”

“We appeal to the Lieutenant Governor led administration and Health and Medical Education department  to look into the matter so that the aspirants could heave a sigh of relief,” the protesters said.
