J&K administration is trying to boost tourism for the winter months in many places of Jammu region.

Recently the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, visited Guldanda in   Bhaderwah, a well-known tourist destination which is witnessing the arrival of tourists all the way from different states of the country to enjoy winters amid snow capped mountains. The purpose of the visit was to engage with tourists, gather insights into their experiences and obtain valuable feedback to improve tourism facilities in the area.

During interactions with tourists, the DDC assured them of their safety and convenience, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to delivering a memorable and hassle-free experience. He also discussed the upcoming winter festival, set to showcase the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the region.

The anticipated winter festival aims to draw a significant number of tourists, providing a platform to promote local talent, craftsmanship, and cuisine. The event is poised to feature diverse cultural performances, adventure sports, local handicraft exhibitions, and enticing food stalls. DDC Doda expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming winter carnival. He urged both locals and tourists to actively participate and contribute to its success. He further encouraged the tourism department and local stakeholders to make necessary arrangements, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
