POLL SEASON

Several camps and training sessions are being held not only for the officials but also for the common people so that they understand the importance of voting.

Recently on the directions of the District Election Officer(DEO), a series of awareness programs were held under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP) in various Schools of the District.

The awareness programmes were conducted under the supervision of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, A H Fani during which awareness  programmes and rallies were organized at GGHSS Kothibagh and SP Model Higher Secondary School.

Speaking about the ongoing SVEEP activities, the District Election Officer, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat urged the young voters  to inspire their families, friends, relatives and neighbors to participate in the upcoming General Elections elections with enthusiasm.

The DEO also emphasized the young voters to play their role as ambassadors of democracy.

He also congratulated and commend the students who will be casting their vote for the first time in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections
