Kashmir Youth Dies, Brother Injured in Punjab Road Accident

SRINAGAR: A youth lost his life, and his brother sustained injuries after they were involved in a road accident in the Damtal area of Punjab.

Quoting officials, GNS reported that around 10 pm on Sunday, a vehicle struck the two brothers in Damtal, leaving both critically injured.

The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where one of the brothers was declared brought dead. The other is currently undergoing treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Sharafat Ahmad Khan, while the injured brother is Rifakat Ahmad Khan, both residents of Brariangan Shangus, Anantnag.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case, and an investigation has been initiated.
