Jammu Kashmir Government Announces Transfers, Postings of Officers

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of six officers while assigning additional charges to two others, as per official orders issued today.

Mushtaq Ahmad, serving as Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens.

Gulzar Ahmad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, will hold the charge of ADDC Ganderbal in addition to his existing responsibilities, until further orders.
Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, ADDC Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as a Member of the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB).

Showkat Ahmad Rather, ADDC Shopian, has also been transferred and posted as a Member of the JKSSB.

Sarib Sahran, Assistant Commissioner in the State Taxes Department, Kashmir, has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the JKSSB.

Pooja Rasgotra, State Taxes Officer in the office of the Additional Commissioner, State Taxes, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the JKSSB.
Mohammad Shafi Lone, Under Secretary to the Government in the Hospitality and Protocol Department, has been transferred to the JKSSB as Under Secretary.

Shafqat Majeed Bhat, currently the Collector of PHE, Irrigation, and Flood Control Jammu, has been assigned additional charge of the Collector of the Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) Jammu, until further notice.

The changes are aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and ensuring optimal utilisation of resources across departments. These orders come into effect immediately.
