Timely execution

Recently Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, YS&S, IT, S&T and ARI & Trainings, chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the physical and financial progress on developmental works being executed by Rural Development Department in Chhamb constituency under different schemes,

The meeting focused on evaluating the progress and impact of ongoing projects in the constituency being executed under RDD schemes.

During the review, the Minister, who is also the MLA from Chhamb constituency, had a comprehensive assessment of various aspects of the RDD sector including implementation of MGNREGA, PMAY-G, Capex, rural sanitation and allied programmes.

He emphasized transparency and accountability as central principles in RDD sector projects. He reviewed the status of RDD development works being executed across all blocks including Chowki Choura, Maira Mandrian, Samwan, Khara Balli and Khour. He laid stress on convergence with other departments in building community developmental assets.

Highlighting the importance of MGNREGA in socio-economic empowerment of rural areas, the Minister exhorted upon the concerned officers to facilitate smooth and effective execution of all development works being done under this ambitious scheme. He asked the officials to focus on employment generation and skill development as core aspects of RDD’s mission.
