Tourism industry is trying to come in terms with the ground realities post Baisaran terror attack on April 22.

They are trying to woe tourists back to Kashmir by many campaigns including heavy discounts for the tourists to revisit Kashmir.

Despite all efforts the tourist footfall is not picking up and the authorities have closed many off beat tourist destinations in Kashmir.

Those locations which were close to LoC like Bangus Valley, Keran, Gurez etc have been closed for tourists.

More than a month has passed since the terror attack in Pahalgam there are no bookings and most of the hotels and houseboats are empty.

Despite ceasefire in place local tour operators recently said that very little tourist trickles is coming to Kashmir.

Recently many tourist related business organizations met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and urged him to use his influence to reopen all the tourist places.
