Rural connectivity has not picked up the pace and during a recent public grievance camp held in Srinagar such issues came in focus. The officers who were conducting the grievance camp assured the delegations that they will take up the matter on priority and ensure that more and more villages are connected and the entire rural landscape gets better connectivity.
During the programme, a number of deputations and individuals from Srinagar, Budgam, Anantnag, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Pulwama, Gulmarag, Kokernag, Phalgam, among other areas met the Administrative Secretaries and highlighted their issues and most of these issues are revolving round the rural connectivity.
The officers claimed that government was focused to improve the rural connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir. The officials during the camp said that the macdamization process would start immediately after weather improves.
