COVID-19: 18-year-old boy passes away in Srinagar hospital

Srinagar: An 18-year-old boy from north Kashmir’s Handwara area of Kupwara district has become the youngest victim to die from COVID-19 in the valley.

The deceased was admitted to Srinagar’s SMHS hospital a couple of days ago, where he died this morning.

Medical Superintendent of SMHS Dr. Nazir Chaudhary while talking to The Kashmir Walla said that the boy had developed  double pneumonia, “He also had a history of physical assault,” Chaudhary said.
