Delhi: Gangster among 3 killed in Rohini court firing

Three people, including a gangster, were killed in a firing at a court in Rohini, Delhi Police said on Friday.

Several people, including a woman advocate, were wounded, police said.

Delhi Police said that the assailants, who police said belonged to ‘Tillu gang’,  were dressed like advocates. Police said that the attackers had been “neutralised” in police firing.

Police said Gogi, who was arrested in April under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act by Delhi Police Special Cell, was shot dead by his rivals while he was being brought to court.

Some 30-40 rounds of bullets were shot, police said.

Gogi had 19 cases of murder, attempted murder, extortion and dacoity against him.
