Police on Tuesday submitted charge sheet against three accused persons including a minor in the recent tragic acid attack case of Srinagar city.
These accused persons have been identified by the police being involved in this cases in which a young girl after the attack is undergoing treatment as they threw acid on her face.
She has been undergoing treatment outside Jammu and Kashmir and society along with the political leaders have denounced the action of these accused and have demanded exemplary punishment to them so that it becomes a deterrent in the society.
“About 1000 pages of charge sheet Filed today against 3 accused, 2 adults & 1 Juvenile in Hon’ble CJM court & Juvenile Justice Board (JJB). Petition also filed to try juvenile as per JJ act as crime is heinous in nature & juvenile is above 16 & below 18 years,” a police official said.
