SRINAGAR: One unidentified militant was killed in an overnight gunfight in the Dachigam area of Harwan in Srinagar district on Tuesday.
A senior police officer said that a specific input was received by the police and security forces, leading to a cordon and search operation launched late on Monday evening in the Dachigam area.
During the gunfight, one unidentified militant was killed. However, the operation in the area is still ongoing. Further details are awaited. (GNS)
