Thirty-four militants were killed and 18 others injured in Afghanistan’s Balkh province during security operations, a police official said on Sunday.
“The militants were killed during the cleanup operations in Chamtal district on Saturday,” the official told Xinhua news agency. Two security personnel were also injured. (Agencies)
