Dalai Lama visits schools, health centre in Zanskar

ZANASKAR : After completing two days of teaching sessions, the Dalai Lama today visited Model Public School (MPS) Padum, MantseKhangZanskar Health Care Centre (HCC) and Lamdon Model High School (HS) Usti-Pipting.

While interacting with the students at Lamdon Model School, he stressed for boosting of Bodhi language.

During his visit to MantseKhangZanskar Health Care Centre, he stressed for ensuring cleanliness in and around the Centre. He also asked the Management to work with utmost dedication and deliver their services promptly and honestly.

On the occasion, Muslim Association Zanskar also met His Holiness. While emphasising on the practice of love, compassion and tolerance, he said they represent the core values that set the foundation for making the world a peaceful place to live.
