Bank guard, civilian injured after gunmen attempt to loot bank in Kulgam

Srinagar : Two persons including a bank guard on Friday suffered injuries after unknown gunmen stormed inside JK Bank branch Mohanpora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Unidentified gunmen barged into Jammu & Kashmir Bank at Mohanpora, Kulgam this afternoon with the intention to loot cash, official sources told Kashmir Reader.

However, the bank employees offered stiff resistance and thwarted the plan. Angered by it, the gunmen opened fire leaving one bank employee and a civilian injured, the official sources added.
