Tral family invokes God, appeals militants to free abducted SPO

Srinagar : The family of the abducted Jammu and Kashmir Special Police Officer (SPO) has appealed militants to forgive their son and allow him to return to his family.

In an emotional video that has gone viral on social networking sites, the mother of the SPO, surrounded by other women, appeals to militants to release her son for Almighty Allah’s sake.

According to her, Mudassir had already quit his job, and had come back home. She adds that he was to declare the same last Friday in the mosque, however, he got engaged in some work and didn’t get time.

“You are also my own children. I request you to kindly set him free and he will quit the job and apologise for all his mistakes.”

Mudassir is the lone son of the family among three daughters. He was allegedly abducted by the militants last night from his home in Tral of Pulwama district. He was posted in Reshipora area of Awantipora in Pulwama district.
