Srinagar: The business fraternity of Kashmir will start protesting from Tuesday in support of the article 35-A, the amalgam announced on Monday in a press conference held in Srinagar.
The business fraternity which is an amalgam of traders and business associatioins of Kashmir also supported the JRL shutdown call for August 5 and 6.
“We will start protesting from tomorrow against those who are tying to change the demography of the state,” said Mohammad Yasin Khan while addressing reporters here.
“Even if we have to give our blood, we will save the special status of our state,” Khan said.
Khan also said that business fraternity across the state of Jammu and Kashmir was with them.
The business fraternity appealed Supreme Court of India to dismiss the PILs filed against the article 35A which gives special status to the state.
The Supreme Court is hearing on petitions challenging Article 35A of the Indian constitution on August 6.
