Clashes erupt in south Kashmir’s Khudwani during CASO

Clashes erupted between government forces and youth this afternoon during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Reports said that as soon as the cordon was launched in the Wani Mohalla area of Khudwani locals tried to resist the forces operation.

However forces resorted to tear gas shelling and cane charging to disrupt the resistance.

The clashes were going on when this report was foiled.
