Srinagar : A special police officer (SPO) has gone missing along with an AK-47 rifle from police station Shopian in south Kashmir on Saturday, a top police officer said.
A police official said that Showkat Ahmad, a resident of Herman village, posted at police station Shopian fled with AK- 47 rifle of his colleague Mohammad Yaseen.
An official said that an alert has been sounded to nab the SPO.
