Life on halt in Kashmir due to curfew and hartal

Life is still on the streets of Srinagar city and other parts of Kashmir as JRL has given a two day hartal call against the perceived tinkering with article 35A by the court and the central government. Curfew and restrictions in Srinagar city parts known as downtown area has crippled life . Police has also put under house arrest Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Geelani to restrict thier movement. Reports said that additional troops were being deployed in many sensitive areas of Kashmir valley on thrusday morning to maintain law and order situation.
Rail services have been suspended for two days of thrusday and Friday as precautionry measure to avoid protests and violence.
