Police seeks help in identifying suspects involved in bike lifting case

Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday sought the help of the general public in identifying suspects involved in bike lifting case.

The police spokesman said Ali Mohammad Mir son of Mohammad Assam Mir resident of New Colony Sopore approached Sopore Police and reported that on August 9, 2018, he found his motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A-4470 missing which he had parked near the main gate of his house.

“He further reported that after some day’s he saw a picture of three persons riding a motorcycle uploaded on Facebook and he claims that the motorcycle belongs to him,” the spokesman said.

“On receiving this information, Sopore police initiated investigations in the matter,” the police spokesman said.

“Police is requesting general public that if anybody having any information regarding whereabouts of the persons seen in the picture may kindly inform Police Station Sopore on 9596773126, 9596773010, PCR Sopore on 9596773024 9596773025 or Police Control Room on 100,” said police spokesman in a statement.
