Srinagar : Thousands of mourners on Wednesday took part in the last rites of slain militant killed in Tujjer area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town yesterday.
An eye witness said that thousands of people from Sopore, Zainageer areas and other adjoining localities assembled at the slain militant’s native village to offer funeral prayers.
The slain militant identified as Abdul Majeed Mir, affiliated with the LeT outfit, was killed along with his associate yesterday during an encounter with government forces.
