Internet service restored in Kashmir capital

Srinagar: Mobile internet service has been restored in this capital city, where a youth was killed during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the early hours today.

The service was restored around 5:15 pm, said an official.

He said the service was blocked today morning in the wake of killing of a civilian Saleem Malik during a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Noorbagh area of Qamarwari.
Clashes erupted in parts of downtown Srinagar as the news of killing of Malik spread.
