Srinagar based army spokesman was quoted by few news agencies saying that on evening of Saturday an infiltration attempt was repulsed. He said that pakistani troops were giving cover to infiltrators but claimed that heavy firing from this side failed this fresh attempt by militants to cross over from Tanghdar sector of Kupwara.
