JRL holds protest in Srinagar against civilian, militant killings

Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Friday held a a protest demonstration in Maisuma area of Srinagar city against the civilian and militant killings.

Scores of JRL activists carrying placards held a protest at Maisuma Chowk soon after culmination of Friday prayers.

The protesters chanted pro-freedom, anti-India slogans and denounced the civilian and militant killings.

The JRL had on Thursday called for post-Friday protests against the civilian and militant killings in Kashmir and “growing repression.”
