Restrictions, hartal paralyse life in Kashmir

Strict restrictions in many parts of Srinagar city on Monday coupled with general strike call given by JRL against the civilian killings in Kulgham has brought life to standstill here.all educational institutions shops and business establishments were closed and public transport was off the roads.
Authorities have postponed all slated exams on Monday and rail service suspended to avoid protests and violence.
Reports said that many civilians were in serious condition in the hospitals of Srinagar. Unconfirmed reports said that so far 88 people have been killed in Kulgham encounter site blast. Many youth were admitted in Srinagar hospitals on Sunday evening with bullet and pellet injuries. Initial reports said that they have been injured in clashes with government forces in Anantnag town and kulgh.police has not issued any statement so far about these injured persons.
