Srinagar: A militant was killed in a gunfight with the goverment forces in Reshipora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Quoting reports, news agency GNS reported that a militant was killed in the gunfight which broke out after a joint team of army’s 42RR, 180 BN CRPF and SOG cordoned off Reshipora.
A police officer confirmed to news agency GNS that one militant was killed whose identity was yet to be ascertained.
Reports said the slain militant is believed to be a member of Zakir Musa led group Ansar Ghazwatul Hind.
