Karnah : Dozens of far-flung and remote villages near the Line of Control (LoC) remain cutoff from district and tehsil headquarters on Wednesday due to moderate to heavy snow fall in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources said that the road between Kupwara to Karnah closed due to heavy snowfall at Sadhna top remain people of Karnah cut off from rest of valley.
Likewise, Kupwara to border town of Keran road also closed due to fresh snowfall.
In Karnah many remote villages cut off from Tehsil headquarter Tanghdar due to closure of link roads including Kandi-Jada, Tanghdar-Shamaspora, Tanghdar-Nar, Tanghdar-Nachain and Tanghdar-Jabri.
Officials said that the efforts were being made to restore traffic on these roads. (KNS)
