Srinagar;The Valley-based traders have called for a shutdown on Sunday against the attacks on Kashmiris and Muslims outside the Valley.
The bandh call was issued by the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Forum, Kashmir Economic Alliance and other trade bodies of the valley.
The traders Association Lal Chowk also staged a protest in Lal Chowk today and observed a complete shutdown in Lal Chowk and adjacent areas to express solidarity with the Kashmiris outside the Valley.
The traders demanded the government to ensure the safety of Kashmiris outside the valley.
Meanwhile, Clashes erupted in Maisuma and Lal Chowk on Saturday after a complete shutdown was observed over ‘violence’ against Kashmiris in Jammu.
