70 Employees Suspended for dereliction of duties in Kupwara

SRINAGAR, : As many as 70 government employees in different departments were placed under suspension after they were found absent from duty in Kupwara district of North Kashmir, an order copy reads.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kupwara Bashir Ahmad inspected various departments including Geology and mining, irrigation and flood control, PHE and others and found 70 employees absent, an order reads.

“During the inspections, 20 officials at PHE Division Kupwara, 17 at Irrigation and Flood Control, 12 at Geology and Mining, and 21 at REW, BDO office Kupwara, Handicrafts and Fisheries Department were found unauthorised absent and were placed under immediate suspension” it reads.
