DIG South Kashmir wounded in ongoing Pulwama gunfight

Srinagar: Deputy Inspector General of Police South Kashmir range Amit Kumar has been injured in the ongoing gunfight with government forces in Pulwama district.

Reports said that Kumar was hit by a bullet in his leg. They said that Kumar has been airlifted to army’s Srinagar base hospital for treatment.

Earlier four army personnel including a major, two militants and a civilian were killed in the gunfight.
