According to news agencies gunfight has been going on after government forces cordoned off Warpora area of Sopore during previous night.
Police said that 22 RR along with SOG wing of Jammu and Kashmir state police zeroed in on the house where militants were hiding in the area.
Reports said that Internet services have been suspended and restrictions imposed in Sopore to avoid protests and violence. More details are awaited.
