Srinagar: Srinagar-Jammu highway has been closed again on Monday after the traffic authorities allowed traffic to proceed from Srinagar to Jammu as hundreds of vehicles were stranded in Kashmir due to the closure of Highway.
Reports said that due to fresh landslides in the Ramban sector of the highway, traffic was stopped leading to traffic jam all along the highway adding to the problems of people who had undertaken the journey.
Traffic authorities told this reporter on Monday morning that hundreds of oil tankers which were stranded near Patnitop sector of the highway were allowed to the pass Jawahar Tunnel during night. These authorities said that over 600 oil tankers have reached Srinagar already.
