Srinagar: While as both India and Pakistan have asked their border villagers to be ready to be evacuated from their villages because of the growing tension post Pulwama CRPF attack, Karavan-e-Aman bus between Srinagar-Muzaffabad was resumed on Monday after remaining suspended for a week.
Officials said that due to the tension this bus service was suspended last Monday for the safety and security of the passengers. Many passengers who were stranded in Kashmir, resumed their journey in the bus on Monday morning.
It is in place to mention that as a huge Confidence Building Measure (CBM) cross LoC bus service was started in the year 2005 making it possible for thousands of families from both sides to travel to their relatives. The travel permit on both sides is issued to the State Subjects from both parts of Kashmir and their names are cleared by respective CID and intelligence set-up.
