Srinagar: On Pakistan’s request, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has summoned an emergency meeting of its Kashmir Contact Group to review actions taken by New Delhi in the aftermath of the February 14 Pulwama attack in Kashmir.
The meeting will be held at the OIC General Secretariat at 11 am on Tuesday.
In the past, the group has criticised India over human rights violations in the occupied territory.
On threats of Indian aggression, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry commented that “the whole nation stands behind armed forces of the country”.
“Pakistan wants normalisation of relations with India and Prime Minister Imran Khan has categorically given his stance on the relationship with New Delhi,” he added.
