Reports from Jammu said that indian and pakistani troops were exchanging heavy artillery fire in krishna ghati sector of Rajouri. Police said that they have no immediate details of any injuries or causualities in this incident.
Reports said that due to heavy shelling overnight in various areas of poonch and Rajouri sectors, fearstriken villagers were looking for safer places to move.
Authorities have told this reporter that they have kept ready shelters for the villagers to move out of shelling prone areas of poonch and Rajouri sectors .
