Massive fire damages four houses in Sopore

Srinagar : A devastating fire on Wednesday in Sopore town of Baramulla district in north Kashmir damaged five residential houses.

Reports said that fire broke out at a residential house of Khazir Muhammad Malla in Chankhan area of Sopore and then spread to other adjoining houses. The devastating incident resulted in damage to five residential houses.

An official said that due to the early intervention by fire tenders, the fire was prevented to spread further. The official added that property worth lakhs were damaged in the incident. However, the cause of fore was not known immediately.
