Parganlar Tral irrigation canal under threat due to pollution ,Authorities assure action

Tral :-The water canal, which is feeding dozens of villages from   Patuna to Pinglish is under threat due to growing pollution  in the area . As many villages enrooted to the canal are dumping all solid waste in to this irrigation canal, the existence of the canal is under jeopardy .when this reporter contacted executive engineer  G R Janbaz , he said that the canal would be cleaned .He said that cleaning process of the canal has been started.

He appealed people living near the irrigation canal not to dump their sold waste especially polygene bags in to the canal .Taking note of such action, the in charge engineer said that they have issued notices to three villages namely  panzoo,Lorgam and Larrow .He futher said that they have made announcements through the mosques appealing people not to throw their waste in to this irrigation canal .
