Srinagar: Government forces Saturday morning launched a massive cordon and search operation south Kashmir’s Shopian village.
Official sources said that a joint team of government forces including army, Jammu and Kashmir police and paramilitary forces, acting on specific inputs about presence of militants in Turkwangam village, cordoned the area and started door to door search operation.
The search operation was in progress while this report was being filed.
