India, Pakistan armies trade fire along LoC in Poonch

Srinagar: The armies of India and Pakistan on Thursday exchanged heavy fire along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the officials, the Pakistan army resorted to mortar shelling and small arms in Qasba Kirni sector of Poonch district.

“The firing started at 10 am and the Indian army responded strongly,” official added.

There was no immediate report of any causality on either side of the LoC.
