Kangan youth goes missing, family appeals him to return

Ganderbal : A youth from Thune area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has went missing while as the family here appealed him to return home.

A youth, identified as Shafat Ahmad Malik, son of Muhammad Yousuf Malik of Thune Kangan is missing since April 28 this year.

His family members said that he had left home for SMHS hospital in Srinagar for a medical check-up on April 28 but didn’t return home.

“After he was didn’t return home till late night, we tried to call him several times. But his phone was switched off,” the family said, adding that after failing to trace him, they filed a missing report at Police Station Kangan.

Meanwhile, Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Kangan, Khursheed Ahmad Awan told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the youth was missing since April 28.

He said that efforts are on to trace the missing youth. (KNS)
