Two militants killed in Pulwama gunfight

Srinagar : Two militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces at Brubanduna village in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

A police official said that two bodies of militants have been retrieved from the site of encounter.

“The identity and group affiliation of killed militants is being ascertained,” he said, adding that a rifle and a pistol were recovered from the gunfight site.

He said that the operation was almost over. Further details awaited.
