Funding probe

The Union Government has asked various agencies to accelerate the process of completing probe in various financial violation cases pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir State. Recently State Anti-Corruption Bureau has completed probe in the J&K Bank case and are likely to file the FIR in that case. Similarly, the probes are going on in many cases of financial violations in J&K State.

Recently, J&K Crime Branch questioned the former Minister Nayeem Akhtar in a case pertaining JKPCC. Similarly many other cases were being completed by the agencies on the instructions of the government.

Earlier Amit Shah has asked all the investigating agencies to move ahead for filing cases against the terror funding in Kashmir Valley. On his directions, NIA, ED and Income Tax Department have swiftly moved in many pending cases of terror funding and even questioned one of the prominent editors and proprietor of leading newspapers in Kashmir Valley.

Earlier, many investigations were put on hold including against Hurriyat Chairman Moulana Umar Farooq and now the NIA has moved ahead in investigations in all such cases and they have broadened the ambit by even questioning the influential media person from Kashmir Valley.

Amit Shah has been very keen right from the day first as Union Home Minister to give new direction to the policies of the BJP Government especially during the second innings of Modi Government.  The Union Government is monitoring all the cases and they want that the FIRs should be lodged and in many cases, the probe should be completed and the cases should be sent to court.
