Farooq led delegation meet Modi

Srinagar: In the backdrop of recent rumours that Central Government was going to strike down article 35 A, followed by deployment of additional paramiliatary troops, Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his two National Conference MP’s Hussnain Masoodi and Akbar Lone. Reports from New Delhi said that National Conference delegation appraised Prime Minister about the growing uncertainty in Kashmir following such rumours. However, it was not known yet what transpired between Farooq  and Modi. Recently Farooq Abdudullah responded to the request of Mehbooba Mufti to hold all party meet of all the mainstream political parties in order give a united response to any move of the Centre against the special status of Kashmir.
