Massive deployment in Srinagar, trucks unloaded with essentials

Srinagar; Dozens with truck loads with dry ration were seen unloading these items in different parliamentary forces camps during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, reports and witnesses said that the trucks with security vehicles unloaded the dry ration and pulses in many places Srinagar. Reports from other parts of Kashmir that a special convey of trucks loaded with dry ration items was allowed to enter into Kashmir valley at late night. Police sources confirmed that the authorities have distributed lot of ration and pulses to police and parliamentary forces stationed at different places in Srinagar and other parts of valley.

It is in place to mention that Central Government has mobilized army, air force and both these wings are told to remain high alert in Kashmir. On Saturday morning hundreds of labourers from different parts of the country were seen looking for transport to move out of Kashmir. There has been lot of chose and confusion on Srinagar airport even as additional flights are arranged to move Yatris and tourists out of Kashmir. State Government through Commissioner Secretary Home issued a circular on Friday afternoon to Yatris and tourists to leave Kashmir within 24 hours due to terror threat.
