Sunday starts with heavy shelling in Poonch sector

Poonch: According to our local reporter from Poonch panic has gripped the villagers on Sunday as heavy shelling was going on between the Pakistan army and security forces. Initial reports said that cross border firing started in Degwar sector on Sunday morning and the shelling was going on till this report was filed. News agencies have reported that the shelling was going and some shells have reached to the villages also.

Locals told this reporter that many of them have started migrating from their houses as the shells were reaching to their compounds. However, defense spokesman told agencies there were no reports of any casualty or injuries on this side of the border.
