Army fire warning shots in South Kashmir hamlet during search operation

Anantnag, May 31, KNT: Government Forces fired warning shots during a cordon and search operation in Anantnag village of South Kashmir.

Official sources told News Agency KNT that after receiving inputs about the presence of militants, Government Forces have cordoned off Poshkari village of Srigufwara in Anantnag district.

A thorough search operation is underway during which soldiers fired a couple of shots in air that created panic in the area. Sources added that no contact with the militants so for has been established and the search operation is still underway till the filing of this report.
